During its meeting of 18 November 2004, the Commission was pleased to receive an information presentation on the Anacostia Waterfront Initiative and the Washington Canal Park Competition. The Commission supports the effort to reunite Anacostia with the rest of the city and encourages the use of quality design throughout the city to invigorate communities and provide much-needed amenities.

The Commission looks forward to the future review of the design for the Washington Canal Park and other projects sponsored by the District of Columbia Government in the Anacostia Waterfront area as well as the rest of the city. The staff is always available to assist you.
