RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the issuance of permit for the proposed renovation and addition as shown in supplemental drawings received and dated 15 March 2006.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the issuance of permit for the proposed new sign reading "Restaurant and Lounge" as shown in drawings received and dated 3 March 2006, provided the sign is non-illuminated.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the issuance of permit for proposed awnings as shown in supplemental drawings received and dated 15 March 2006. Refer to Historic Preservation Office and National Capital Planning Commission for review.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the concept for the proposed window replacement as shown in drawings received and dated 3 March 2006.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the issuance of permit for the proposed replacement of metal gate and conversion of ramp to stairs as shown in drawings received and dated 3 March 2006.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the issuance of permit for proposed sign as shown in supplemental drawings received and dated 13 March 2006. Signs for other businesses in the building must be submitted for review under separate permit. Recommend applicant contact Historic Preservation Office and National Capital Planning Commission for review.

RECOMMENDATION: Postponed at the request of the applicant.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the issuance of permit for proposed signs as shown in supplemental drawings received and dated 15 March 2006.

RECOMMENDATION: Project returned without comment. Location is outside the jurisdiction of the Commission of Fine Arts.

RECOMMENDATION: No objection to the concept for the proposed renovation of the streetscape as shown in drawings received and dated 3 March 2006 with the exception of the proposed lighting embedded in the sidewalk and the planters surrounding the bay windows. Future submissions should include designs to meet any perimeter security requirements.
