Dear Mr. Carlstrom,

During its meeting of 15 July, the Commission considered new color scheme options for the food service kiosks proposed for West Potomac Park and for the existing kiosks on the Mall. Unfortunately, the members did not have the opportunity to inspect the paint samples on the kiosk near the American History Museum before their meeting. They felt that a decision could not be made from photographs and drawings, and would prefer to have seen the mockup before coming to a conclusion. Therefore, they have postponed their final action until September with a promise to inspect the mockup before the public meeting. Our staff will coordinate their visit to the Mall with your staff.
