In the meeting of 27 July, the Commission of Fine Arts made the following recommendations for the revised designs of the commemorative coins honoring the Old San Francisco Mint:

Five-Dollar Gold Coin

Obverse: GO2-1-B

Reverse: GR2-1

One-Dollar Silver Coin

Obverse: The request was to use the general layout and edging of SO2-1-B, but replace the perspective view of the Old Mint with a full elevation drawing, such as the one seen previously for the reverse of the gold coin and labeled GR-01.

Reverse: SR2-1
