Dear Mr. Rombach:

In the meeting of 15 June, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the final design for the courtyard landscape in the Patent Office Building. The Commission members expressed their appreciation for the design team's responsiveness to their previous concerns and the provision of additional details of the design.

The Commission looks forward to the re-opening of this building in the coming weeks and to the review of other projects for the Smithsonian Institution. As always, the Commission staff is available should you require further assistance.
