In the meeting of 18 May, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the concept design for the streetcar maintenance facility located between South Capitol Street and I-295 south of Defense Boulevard. However, the Commission members requested that the applicant work with the staff to establish a stronger design of the attached office space in relation to the larger maintenance shed. The final review of the project is delegated to the staff.

The Commission looks forward to the review of other projects for the District Department of Transportation. As always, the staff is available to assist you and your project team.
