In the meeting of 18 May, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed the proposed single-family dwelling at 1769 North Portal Drive, N.W. (case number S.L. 06-089) as shown in drawings received and dated 5 May 2006.

The Commission concluded that the design of the residence was acceptable within the conventions of the neighborhood and the larger context of Rock Creek Park. Therefore, the Commission has no objection to the issuance of permit for the proposed house.
