Dear Mr. Moy:

In the meeting of 21 September, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed the design for the obverse and reverse of the Congressional Gold Medal honoring the Tuskegee Airmen. The Commission approved the design with the recommendation that, on the reverse, the cloud pattern behind the airplanes be removed or at least reconfigured to be less distracting.
