Dear Ms. Baquial:

In its meeting of 17 April, the Commission of Fine Arts did not approve the recommendation listed on the Direct Submission Consent Calendar for the concept design of the Construct Operations Facility proposed for Bolling Air Force Base. The Commission members expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the design as shown and determined that it could not be approved as submitted.

The Commission requested that either a different design be developed or the existing scheme be thoroughly revised and resubmitted for review. As always, the Commission staff is available to assist you.
