Mary Katherine Lanzillotta and H. Alan Brangman Appointed to Old Georgetown Board

The U.S. Commission of Fine Arts is pleased to announce its appointment of Mary Katherine Lanzillotta, FAIA, to serve on the Old Georgetown Board (OGB) for a two-year term beginning 1 September 2016. Ms. Lanzillotta will complete the remainder of the three-year term begun by Stephen A. Muse, FAIA, who resigned from the Board in July 2016. The Commission also reappointed H. Alan Brangman, AIA, to a second three-year term. Mr. Brangman has served on the OGB since September 2013.

Mary Kay Lanzillotta, FAIA, is a preservation architect and partner of Hartman-Cox Architects in Washington, DC, where she has been responsible for managing complex institutional and historic projects in Washington, DC, and throughout the country. An active member of the profession, Ms. Lanzillotta founded the Architecture in the Schools program of the Washington Architectural Foundation and has held numerous offices within the Washington Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. She has also lectured in numerous academic and professional venues. Ms. Lanzillotta received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture degree and Certificate in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania.
