Anne Bozena Vytlacil, AIA, earned a bachelor's degree and master of architecture from Harvard University and worked as a designer from 1963 to 1968 in architecture firms in San Francisco and New York City, including William Lescaze & Associates. She worked as an associate with Keyes, Lethbridge & Condon in Washington, D.C., from 1968 to 1977, when she formed her own practice focused on residential, commercial, and institutional renovation or rehabilitation projects in historic settings. She was an adjunct lecturer at the California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an associate of the National Preservation Institute in 1989.
