Dear Mr. Ball:
During its meeting of 17 June 2004, the Commission reviewed the design development for the proposed addition to the parking garage at Union Station, particularly the options for the screening material. The previously proposed corrugated screening panel was not approved at the May meeting and we appreciate your looking into alternatives. The suggested substitute flat panel with one inch square openings may be a good choice; however, before the Commission gives its final approval, the members would like to see a sample of the panel in place on the garage facade. Please inform the staff when the sample is installed and they will coordinate with the members to view the panel as soon as possible.
As always, the staff is available to assist you with the next submission.
