During its meeting of 15 July, the Commission received an informational presentation on a conceptual plan for the redevelopment of L'Enfant Plaza, on the 10th Street Promenade, SW. The proposed plan offers an excellent opportunity to restore ground level retail to the area and to create a dynamic new home for the National Children's Museum. It seems to be a good step towards animating and bringing much need vitality to this portion of 10th Street.
The Commission is encouraged by this exciting plan and looks forward to reviewing the project as the design progresses. The staff is available should you require assistance.
