Letter
Dear Mr. Hammond:
In its meeting of 16 May, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the proposal to installArch in Flight, a bronze sculpture by Emilie Brzezinski, in front of the Federal Reserve Board's office building at 1709 New York Avenue, NW. The Commission members noted that the sculpture will complete the implementation of the previously approved site design, which included perimeter security elements and the proposed location for this art installation. They commended the Federal Reserve Board for its commitment to furthering excellence in contemporary public art.
As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.
Sincerely,
/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
