No objection to issuance of permit for proposed sign scheme composed of Sunbrella fabric awning with lettering on the face to replace existing canopy, and individually pin-mounted letters reading "Morton's the Steakhouse" illuminated by three projecting light fixtures above storefront, as shown in supplemental drawings dated 29 August 2008. No logos will appear on the sides of the awning, the umbrellas, or the window glass. Recommend valance be no taller than height of frieze panel above storefront windows. Note: Because the application is pending final zoning review, any subsequent modifications to the approved design during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
