No objection to general concept design for proposed two-story rear addition and alterations as red-lined on drawings dated 21 August 2008. Existing brick garden wall must remain in place. Recommend consultation with arborist to determine area to be excavated for rear yard terrace prior to applying for permit. Recommend retention of rear wall of front block of the historic house. File new submission of working drawings, including all elevations, dimensions and details, with permit application for review by the Commission when ready.
