No objection to the issuance of a permit for exterior modifications to convert a Red Roof Inn to a Fairfield Inn, including the cladding and repainting of windows and storefront, the construction of an equipment screening fence, the reconfiguration of the main hotel entrance and canopy, and the installation of new signs, as shown in materials received and dated 8 October 2010 and supplemental materials received and dated 20 October 2010, provided that the existing internally illuminated signs for the restaurant, which were installed without CFA review, be removed. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
