Recommendation
No objection to the proposed placement of a modular building to the north of the existing Ellipse Visitor Pavilion, as shown in materials received and dated 6 July 2011, to serve as the temporary visitor center during the rehabilitation of the White House Visitor Center (WHVC) located within the Department of Commerce building. The modular building will be removed and the site restored as soon as the rehabilitation of the WHVC is completed in the first quarter of 2013.
