No objection to issuance of permit for proposed replacement of 4-ft long wood fence with a 7-ft tall CMU wall as shown in supplemental information dated 24 September 2012 PROVIDED wall is faced with stucco and painted. Recommend application of stucco to face of existing one-story painted CMU structure for a consistent appearance as seen from the public alley. The Commission encourages the applicant to consider ways to improve the appearance of the back of the historic building. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the exterior design made during DCRA technical review must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
