Returned without Action. Submitted materials and a site visit of 21 August 2012 indicate that proposed installation of solar panels on roof will not be visible from public thoroughfare. Supplemental drawings dated 23 August 2012 indicate that the placement of solar panels is limited to the front of the roof where it will not be visible from the street. No panels are proposed for the rear ell. There will be no alterations or cables on the front of the building. Refer to the Historic Preservation Review Board. Note that The L'Enfant Trust holds an easement on this property. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the design made during DCRA Technical Review that would make the alterations and/or equipment visible must be re-submitted to the Commission for approval prior to issuance of permit.
