Recommendation

Recommend AGAINST issuance of permit for replacement front stoop as proposed which is out-of-character with the historic building. Recommend further study of reconstruction of original iron stoop as shown in adjoining house or return to approved design for metal railing on existing brick stoop. See previous Recommendation (OG 04-179). File new submission of working drawings, including dimensions and details, with permit application for historic iron stoop for review by the Commission when ready.
