Although the Old Georgetown Board reiterates their objection to opening a new curb-cut which would have an adverse impact on the character of the National Landmark Historic District of Georgetown, they recommend the review of the curb-cut be referred to the District of Columbia Government. There is no objection to the proposed design for the one-story garage addition with roof terrace as shown in supplemental drawings received and dated 16 October 2006 which indicate a sliding gate on wheels and removal of railing on terrace planter, if it is not required. Note is made that permit application is pending final zoning review. Any modifications to the approved design as a result of further review in the permit process must be submitted to the Commission for approval.
