During its meeting of 15 January, the Commission approved Phase 1 of the proposed concept for the landscape renovations to Franklin Park, permitting the removal, relocation and addition of trees and the removal of secondary pathways. The project team is commended for their thorough research and coordination efforts with various agencies. The Commission looks forward to the continued review of improvements for this and other parks, including but not limited to the submission of designs for benches, trash receptacles and
lighting.
