No objection to concept design for proposed rear addition, dormers, and reconstruction of front facade, as shown in supplemental drawings dated 26 March 2014 provided composition of rear facade is simplified; and front dormer is centered between second floor windows, has historic detailing and sash smaller than second floor sashes. Recommend wood siding as most historically appropriate restoration of front facade. Consult with the DC Historic Preservation Office for the resolution of the proposed amount of demolition prior to filing for permit. File new submission at DCRA of construction drawings, including details and dimensions, cut–sheets, and structural and MEP drawings, with permit application for review by the Commission.
