No objection to general concept design for proposed demolition of non-contributing two-story gable structure on M Street and for new two-story glass and brick flat roof addition with sunken courtyard, green screen, and western wing connecting to existing seven-story brick structure with new entrance on 30th Street, canopy, windows and enlarged mechanical penthouse per supplemental drawings dated 14 August 2014. Recommend further study of vertical proportions on M Street, typical window unit, and signage. File new concept submission at DCRA during design development with dimensioned details for review by the Commission.
