No objection to concept design for proposed storefront alterations as shown in option 1 of supplemental drawings received 13 April 2016 PROVIDED signs are located on face of canopy. No objection to replacement all-wood 2/2 windows with 1 3/4-inches-wide true-divided-light muntins. Recommend stabilization of collapsed historic structure at rear. The Commission regrets that rear balconies and stair do not conform to approved design with metal railings. File new submission of construction drawings. including architectural details, dimensions, and material samples, with permit application for review by the Commission.
