Recommendation
No objection to the issuance of a permit for modifications to an existing house and site, including the infill of an existing garage door with brick to match the existing wall and the installation of new windows and a replacement door in the rear facade; the installation of a new trellis, decking, railings, benches, and stair treads at an existing rear deck; and the installation of a new fence, gates, planting beds, and flagstone pavers in the rear yard, as shown in materials received and dated 2 July 2021 and supplemental materials received and dated 14 October 2021, 10 December 2021, 15 December 2021, and 29 December 2021, PROVIDED that the maximum height of the proposed at-grade fence be no more than 7'-0". Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DCRA technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
