Recommendation
No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of replacement and new fencing, some in wood and some in metal picket and varying in height from 4'-6" to 7'-0", as shown in materials received and dated 4 November 2022 and supplemental materials received and dated 12 December 2022 and 22 December 2022, PROVIDED that fence posts within the drip lines of trees be located to avoid all tree roots with a diameter greater than two inches, whether the trees are on the subject property or on an adjacent property. Refer to DC Public Space Committee for fencing proposed beyond the building restriction line. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
