Recommendation
No objection to the issuance of a permit for masonry cladding repairs at the east tower of an existing complex, including repairs to the concrete frame and concrete masonry unit backup wall; the installation of an air and vapor barrier, helical anchors, and shelf angles; and the installation of new brick masonry cladding on the seventh, eight and roof levels, as shown in materials received and dated 5 July 2024 and supplemental materials received and dated 11 July 2024, PROVIDED that the existing brick coursing be replicated and the new brick be mixed with salvaged brick to match the color variation of the existing facade, PROVIDED that the new mortar match the existing brick wall mortar, and pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
