No objection to issuance of permit for facade alterations, signage, and roof terrace alterations, per supplemental materials received __ December 2025, PROVIDED the paint is not sanded off the brick and mortar at the ground floor and instead is removed with an alkaline paint remover with natural bristle brush and low-pressure wash; if the mortar under the paint requires repointing then mortar analysis is first to be completed before raking and repointing to ensure the appropriate strength and finish of the mortar and only experienced and qualified masons should perform this work to ensure the joints are not enlarged; the existing menu boxes and electrical supplies are removed; final dimensioned drawings are provided for the plaques; the damaged downspout is replaced by a painted square or rounded metal downspout; the replacement downspout does not cover the proposed plaque at the left side entrance; and the plaque next to the gutter is reduced in size to fit between the doorway and downspout. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
