No objection to issuance of permit for the streatery in front of Il Canale, per supplemental materials received _ February 2026, which indicate six tables, 21 faux rattan plastic chairs and five umbrellas, PROVIDED the rattan pattern is within the weave of the chair (this appears to be the case with your chairs); the umbrellas do not exceed a canopy of 6.5’ or overhang the sidewalk; the existing sandwich board signage is removed. Please coordinate with D.C. Public Space regulations on adjacent sidewalk café.
Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval prior to the issuance of a permit.
