No objection to the concept for a new accessible walkway, six railings to be installed perpendicular to existing steps, a replacement entry door, and replacement paving on the entry plaza and steps along the west facade of an existing building, as well as a new egress door, metal canopy, and exterior lighting at the south facade, as shown in materials received and dated 3 April 2026 and supplemental materials received and dated 14 April 2026, PROVIDED that all tree roots with a diameter greater than two inches be avoided, whether the trees are on the subject property or on an adjacent property, and pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Recommend further consultation with CFA and HPO staff on the selection of exterior paving materials before permit submission. Refer to DDOT Urban Forestry Division.
