No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of a rooftop solar panel system on a low-sloped membrane shed roof and associated equipment at an existing house, as shown in materials received and dated 8 May 2026, PROVIDED that the panels be installed at least one foot away from the edge of the roof, and pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Recommend AGAINST the issuance of a permit for the installation of a rooftop solar panel system on an existing natural slate roof, due to the lack of information demonstrating how the panels can be successfully mounted to the slate roof. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
