No objection to the issuance of a permit for the installation of a replacement plate-mounted non-illuminated wall sign at the southeast corner of an existing hotel and window graphics along the south facade for Altair Cafe, as shown in materials received and dated 4 September 2026, PROVIDED that all attachments be made into existing mortar joints or existing holes from previous sign attachments rather than into new holes in the historic brick and pending the receipt of supplemental materials. Refer to DC Historic Preservation Office. Note: Any subsequent modifications to the approved design, including those made during DOB technical review, must be resubmitted to the Commission for approval.
