Letter
Dear Mr. Albert:
In its meeting of 15 November, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the revised concept design for the first phase of Diamond Teague Park. The Commission members appreciated the design team's response to their comments made during the initial presentation of the design in the September 2007 meeting. The Commission members found the revised design to be much improved with its simpler and larger-scaled landscape treatments, docks, and walkways in the park.
The Commission encourages the project team to continue coordination with the adjoining property owners so that these future public areas on the waterfront, near the new baseball stadium, will have a unified and seamless design. The Commission members look forward to reviewing the final design plans for the first phase and the concept designs for the subsequent phases that will connect the park to the adjoining properties. As always, the staff is available to assist with the next submissions.
Sincerely,
/s/
