Green roadway test project

No objection to the final plans for the installation of a test section of approximately 4,900-square feet of supported turf for temporary event-based vehicular access in the northwest quadrant of the Ellipse, as shown in materials received and dated 1 November 2018. It is understood that if this test section of green roadway is successful, a larger area of supported turf will be permanently installed to support special annual events on the Ellipse, such as the National Christmas Tree Lighting, the Pathway of Peace, and the Easter Egg Roll.
