Letter
Dear Ms. Mendelson-Ielmini:
In its meeting of 15 November, the Commission of Fine Arts approved, based on its prior review of the submission materials, the final design for new landscape and pedestrian amenities in Reservation 399, northeast of Tenley Circle at Nebraska Avenue and Yuma Street, NW.
In their approval of the submission, the Commission members commended the responsiveness of the project team in revising the design in order to create a more welcoming environment for the public. The Commission looks forward to the successful completion of the project, and to a future submission for improvements to nearby Reservation 398, which had previously been submitted jointly in a concept design submission with Reservation 399. As always, the staff is available to assist you.
Sincerely,
/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
