Letter

Dear Mr. Anderson:

In its public meeting of 16 July conducted by videoconference, the Commission of Fine Arts approved, based on its prior review of the submission materials, the final design for a new multi-story building and associated landscape for the St. Elizabeths Single Men’s Shelter, to be located on the historic East Campus of St. Elizabeths Hospital at 2700 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, SE. In its action, the Commission endorsed the revisions to the site design and accepted the preference of the D.C. Department of Human Services for the color palette of a gray brick building with red brick stair towers.

As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.

Sincerely,

/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
