No objection to the final design for the renovation and exterior restoration of Building 48 at Fort McNair, as shown in materials received and dated 29 June 2020. The project includes the removal of a World War II-era annex; an exterior fire escape stair; a small transformer shed; and an unused guardhouse (Building 80) built in 2011. Building 48 will be updated with a new universal access ramp at the west entrance, an improved east entrance, and a new green space along the west face of the building.
