In its public meeting of 16 November conducted by videoconference, the Commission of Fine Arts approved, based on its prior review of the submission materials, the final design for the renovation and expansion of the Southeast Neighborhood Library at 403 7th Street, SE, and delegated resolution of the remaining details to the staff. In its approval, the Commission strongly recommended simplifying the planting palette, noting that its complexity may not be suitable for the small site and could present long-term maintenance challenges. Please coordinate with the staff which, as always, is available to assist you.
