Dear Ms. Gibson:

In its public meeting of 16 November conducted by videoconference, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed a revised alternative for the “Flowing Hair” silver medal and gold coin to be issued in 2024 and 2025. The Commission approved the revised versions for the obverse and reverse, expressing appreciation for the effort to adapt the Flowing Hair one-dollar coin design of 1794–1795 by reconciling the irregularities of the historic composition.
