Letter
Dear Mr. McGill:
In the last meeting of 16 February, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the concept design for the proposed Executive Office Remote Delivery Facility to be located on the grounds of the Anacostia Naval Station. While the members complimented the design team for their sensitive approach in the architectural treatment of the proposal, they also encouraged them to incorporate environmentally-friendly building and landscape features that could further enhance the facility's appearance and sustainability, and to provide amenities for the facility's personnel.
In order to assist the project team with meeting the tight construction schedule for the facility, the members delegated the final review to the staff; they requested that samples of the exterior building materials be submitted along with the final plans for the buildings exterior and landscape as soon as they are ready. As always, the staff is available to assist you and to help coordinate the final submittal.
Sincerely,
/s/
