Letter
Dear Mr. Thomas:
In its meeting of 16 February, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed the proposal from the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities for the proposed Five by Five public art program to install 25 temporary artworks in public spaces throughout the city. The Commission members unanimously supported this initial program to provide the city with a variety of installations that will last from a few days up to four months in duration.
The Commission members look forward to seeing the artworks in place and, as always, the staff is available to assist you and your staff with the submission of future public art projects.
Sincerely,
/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
