Dear Mr. McGill:
In the meeting of 16 March, the Commission of Fine Arts reviewed and approved the concept for an outdoor sculpture at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Headquarters at New York and Florida Avenues, NE. The members agreed that the kinetic sculpture by Ned Kahn would be a lyrical addition to the reflecting pool in the courtyard.
The Commission looks forward to the final review of this project, as well as additional artwork, flagpoles, and rooftop equipment for the ATF Headquarters. As always, the staff is available should you require assistance.
