Letter

Dear Col. Austin:

In its public meeting of 18 February conducted by videoconference, the Commission of Fine Arts approved, based on its prior review of the submission materials, the proposed final design for a new monument to honor the sacrifices of the personnel of the Office of Strategic Services who were killed or missing in action during World War II. The monument is to be located within Section 2 of the cemetery, in the grass verge between the curb and the adjacent row of gravesites, northwest of the intersection of Roosevelt and Grant Drives.

As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.

Sincerely,

/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
