Dear Ms. Stidham:

The staff of the Commission of Fine Arts has reviewed the design for a second temporary donor recognition plaque to be installed in the central planted area at the National Desert Shield and Desert Storm Memorial, opposite the previously approved temporary plaque recognizing the State of Kuwait. The staff has no objection to this design as consistent with the overall design approved by the Commission of Fine Arts and, with the authority delegated by the Commission at its meeting of 20 October 2022, approves this minor change to the final design for the site as documented in the materials received 4 June 2026.

As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.

Sincerely,
/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
