Recommendation
No objection to the concept design for the renovation of six officers quarters and the reconstruction of four residential garages in the Fort Myer Historic District, per materials received 27 April 2023, PROVIDED additional documentation of the proposed garages and the ramp at Quarters 6 is submitted for consideration before a final submission. Scope includes the renovation of Quarters 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8 and the demolition and replacement-in-kind of four garages associated with the Quarters. Renovations will include foundation repair, waterproofing, HVAC improvements, installation of fire suppression systems, interior renovations, window replacement, masonry repair, and repointing and roof repair as needed.
