Letter
Dear Mr. Gadis:
In its public meeting of 8 December conducted by videoconference, the Old Georgetown Board (OGB) reviewed the permit submission for combined sewer overflow (CSO) 029, to be constructed as part of the Potomac River Tunnel component of the DC Clean Rivers Initiative. The OGB made no objections to the proposed final design of this element of the project, which includes an above-grade ventilation shaft, manholes, electrical equipment boxes, partial reconstruction of a retaining wall, and associated landscaping.
With the authority delegated by the Commission of Fine Arts at its meeting of 21 April 2022, the OGB approved the final plans for the project, as documented in the supplemental materials received and dated 29 November 2022. As always, the staff is available to assist you with future submissions.
Sincerely,
/s/Thomas E. Luebke, FAIA
