No objection to the final design for a commemorative monument to honor the service and sacrifice of the 129 people lost on board the USS Thresher on 10 April 1963, as shown in materials received and dated 4 June 2019. The monument will be located in Section 2 on the west side of Roosevelt Drive walkway, north of McClellan Drive, near the USS F-4 Submarine Memorial.
