At the beginning of its meeting of 20 June, the Commission of Fine Arts, based on its prior review of the submission materials, approved the final design for the installation of perimeter security and landscape alterations for the headquarters of the Department of Commerce in the Herbert C. Hoover Building, located at 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
The Commission appreciates the careful effort to refine this extensive project throughout the design process, responding to many challenging issues and resulting in a model that can be adapted to other locations in the Federal Triangle. Please coordinate the submission of the final construction documents with the staff which, as always, is available to assist you.
